Estos relojes innovadores son un ejemplo del trabajo en metal. La carcasa y el marco están hechos de una aleación de titanio super dura con base Ti64, mientras que la correa está hecha de otra aleación especial de titanio, DAT55G, que es tres veces más resistente que el titanio puro y altamente trabajable. La parte superior del marco se fabricó con COBARION®, una aleación de cromo cobalto cuatro veces más dura que el titanio puro. Solo el marco consta de 25 componentes diferentes, cada uno pulido de forma individual para obtener una textura sorprendente y detallada. La estructura de protección múltiple de última generación incorpora resortes planos y amortiguadores de silicona al marco de múltiples componentes, lo que garantiza una excelente absorción de impactos para proteger el módulo MR-G dedicado con placa de retención bañada en oro. El MRG-B5000B tiene su lustre pulido y revestimiento de carbono similar al diamante como el mismo negro brillante que el primer G-SHOCK en que se basa, pero con un acabado de espejo lustroso. La esfera del reloj cuenta con un icónico patrón de ladrillo y una línea roja en referencia al diseño original. Estas bellezas metálicas también cumplen cuando se trata de funciones, con calibración controlada por radio y emparejamiento de smartphone mediante Bluetooth®.
